MELTRIC® DS7c/DR7c Devices are Now UL Listed
We are pleased to announce the MELTRIC® Multipin DS7c and DR7c Series Devices are now UL Listed.
DS7c*
Effective immediately, poly models of the DS7c multipin device can be used as a Switch-Rated Multipin Plug and Receptacle for Branch Circuit Disconnect in applications up to 30 A, 600 V.
The DS7c (30 A, 600 V, poly model) is now UL 1682 and UL 2682 listed. This UL listing applies exclusively to 600 V poly devices and confirms that the DS7c meets all UL 2682 certification requirements for safe and reliable use in load make/break applications up to 30 A.
PLEASE NOTE: DS7C poly models are only Switch-Rated as Branch Circuit Disconnect up to 30 A and are not currently listed as a motor disconnect.
DR7c*
The DR7c (50 A, 600 V, poly model) is now UL 1682 listed and conforms to the standards set forth in 1682 certifying plugs, receptacles, and cable connectors of the pin and sleeve type.
PLEASE NOTE: The DR7C is not listed as a Switch-Rated branch or motor circuit disconnect.
*Only highlighted part numbers shown on catalog pages below are affected by this announcement.

Is there a price increase with this newly acquired certification?
No. The addition of UL listing on the DS7c/DR7c devices does not come with a price increase.
Will Horsepower Ratings (motor circuit disconnect certification) be added to the Switch-Rated listing for the DS7c device?
Yes, we have plans to add Horsepower Ratings to the Switch-Rated listing on the DS7c device. However, the specific timeline is yet to be determined.
Will metal devices be added to the Switch-Rated listing for the DS7c device?
Yes, we have plans to certify DS7c metal models to the Switch-Rated listing. This timeline is to be determined.
