Engineered Ease of Use
- Magnetic Reed Switch Pilot Circuit: Built-in, pre-wired reed switch acts as a pilot to enable real-time monitoring of device status for improved operational visibility and integration into control systems.
- 8-Auxiliary Bundle (10 A): Pre-wired auxiliary bundle allows P66 to function as a high-amperage and multi-pin connection in one device. Aux contacts can be used to transmit and control 8-bit signals, communications, relays, power actuators, and more.
- Neutral Terminal: Available with optional neutral to balance phasing for wye configuration power connections.
- Cord-to-Cord Connectivity: P66 offers the unique ability to connect two cords directly, eliminating the need for additional junctions and boxes. This simplifies installation, reduces material costs, and provides flexible power distribution.
- Reversible Drawbar Mechanism: Compact, field-friendly design with reversible drawbar handles makes coupling intuitive and allows configurations most conducive to connectivity.
- Straight (180°) and Right-Angle (90°) Configurations: Allows for compact installation in tight or unconventional spaces while maintaining peak performance.
- Direct or Lug Wiring Options: Two wiring options are available;
- Direct connection - uses screw terminals with split terminal body, saving time and eliminating the need for screw re-tightening maintenance caused by creep or strand settlement.
- Crimping lugs - provide optimal space savings and eliminate constraints related to cable bending radii.
- On-Device Lock-Together: Prevent disconnection with integrated locking functionality with provided locking pin or with an optional kit of two padlocks.
- Protective Cover Lid & Cap: A copper-free, corrosion-resistant cover lid secured with three captive wing nuts, along with a black taroprene cap, provides protection for the receptacle and inlet, ensuring IP66/IP67 ratings when not in use.
- Copper-Free Aluminum and Stainless Steel Construction: Ensures that the aluminum device is corrosion resistant, and that stainless steel accessories are robust in trying environments.
- Silver, Butt-Style Contacts: Silver-plated blade contacts feature 100% silver contact tips with self-cleaning/self-wiping action to guarantee the most reliable electrical conductivity.
- High-Connection Durability: Designed and tested for 2,000 connection cycles to support frequent coupling/decoupling without compromising performance or safety.
