The locking pawl on the PXN12c allows the receptacle lid to be locked in the closed position to prevent insertion of a plug. The locking pin on the DXN25c and DXN37c performs the same function and additionally provides a convenient LOTO means, as well as the ability to lock the devices in the connected position.
